How to make an Anemometer

Anemometers are used to measure wind speeds.

Here is a link to a site which tells you how to make a simple device to measure wind speed. You can try to make it for your Weather Station.

Force Monitoring

These are the various steps when we built a string tension tester using the Lego Mindstorm Components.

The NXT brick is the data logger. The Dual Range Force Sensor is used to sense the force applied to the string. The NXT Mindstorm program is used to program the device. NXT Data Logging Software is used for monitoring the force and calculating the maximum tensile force. You can build a string tension tester for testing the tension of strings and use the NXT data logging software to monitor the force applied till the string breaks.

Try to think of an alternative design for testing the tension in strings.
